Arab Finance: Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing (RUBEX) turned to net losses after tax in the first half (H1) of 2026, with EGP 6.832 million, against net profits of EGP 5.367 million in H1 2025, according to the financial results.
Sales increased to EGP 208.743 million at the end of June 2026 from EGP 197.797 million a year earlier.
Basic loss per share hit EGP 0.11 in the first six months of 2026, compared to a profit per share of EGP 0.087 in H1 2025.
Established in 1987, the company succeeded in the plastic and acrylic sector in Egypt and across the region. It has plastic factories, a pelletizing and washing factory, acrylic factories, a shower cabinet factory, a glass tempering and chapping factory, urea products factory, facilities for solid surfaces, a polyester products factory, and a plastic chrome treating line.
