Arab Finance: Elsewedy University of Technology (SUTech) – Polytechnic of Egypt has partnered with Finland’s Metropolia University of Applied Sciences to launch a joint degree program in Software Engineering Game Development Technology, as per an emailed press release.
The agreement was signed by SUTech President Ahmed Hassan and Metropolia Deputy CEO Simo Mustila during a visit by a Finnish delegation to the university’s campus in 10th of Ramadan City.
The signing was attended by Hanan El Rihany, CEO of Elsewedy EDTECH, Karim El-Safty, CEO of the Finnish Consortium for International Education, along with representatives from Metropolia and senior university officials.
Under the program, students will receive an international degree from Metropolia University as well as a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from SUTech.
The initiative will also offer student exchange opportunities between the two institutions.
The program is scheduled to launch in April 2026, aiming to provide internationally aligned education in technology fields that meet labor market needs.
