ArabFinance: Delta Sugar (SUGR) completed the planting 120,000 feddans of land with sugar beet, according to a Hapi Journal.

The company has planted the same amount it agreed on with the local farmers, the statement added.

Delta Sugar said harvesting the plant will commence in February to start producing local sugar from beet.

The listed firm, meanwhile, incurred a net loss after tax of EGP 62.25 million during the first nine months of 2020.
