Al Ezz Dekheila narrows loss

ArabFinance: Al Ezz Dekheila Steel Company - Alexandria (EZDK) reported a consolidated net loss of EGP 4.68 billion in 2020, compared to EGP 5.23 billion in 2019, excluding minority interest, according to the company’s March 25th statement to the Egyptian Exchange.
The company’s standalone net loss reached EGP 878.53 million last year, compared to EGP 2.23 billion in 2019.
During the first nine months of 2020, Al Ezz Dekheila reported a 182% YoY rise in its consolidated net loss, suffering EGP 3.49 billion.
EZDK is an Egypt-based engaged in the manufacture and production of steel in different types and forms.
The company’s direct subsidiaries include Al Ezz Steel Sheet Manufacturing Company, Steel Company for Industry, and Trade and Contracting Company, which is focused on the manufacture and trade in all types of metal and metal products.
