Obour Land says Obour Farm to be operational in 2022

ArabFinanceObour Land for Food Industries (OLFI) revealed it has received some of the final licences related to Obour Farm, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The company is about to obtain the remaining licences this year, the statement added.

The construction works at the farm have already begun, as the farm is expected to be operational in 2022.

Spanning 42-acre land plot, Obour Farm is being established at an investment cost of EGP 255 million.

The project is expected to house 2,500 cows in a four-year period.

Established in 1997 and listed in 2016, Obour Land for Food Industries is an Egypt-based manufacturing company, which is specialized in the production, processing, and packaging of white cheese.
