Alexandria Flour Mills posts 44% profit hike in 3 months

ArabFinanceAlexandria Flour Mills (AFMC) reported a 44% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit after tax for the period starting July until September 2021, according to the company’s unaudited adjusted financial results filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Net profit after tax amounted to EGP 5.695 million in the three-month period ended September 30th, 2021, compared to a net profit of EGP 3.956 million in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenues fell by 1.8% YoY to EGP 46.14 million in the July-September period of 2021, from EGP 46.96 million in the same period of 2020.

Alexandria Flour Mills is an Egypt-based company that operates in the manufacture, trade, import and export, storage, fumigation and maintenance, packaging, processing, and distribution of grain and its substitutes.
