Middle East Glass logs EGP 164M consolidated profit in 9 months

ArabFinance: Middle East Glass Manufacturing Co (MEGM) achieved a consolidated net profit of EGP 164.2 million during the first nine months of 2021, compared to EGP 12.9 million in the same period of 2020, according to the company’s statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Standalone net profit stood at EGP 50.89 million during the January-September period of 2021, versus a net loss of EGP 2.4 million in the same period a year ago.
MEGM is an Egypt-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture, sale, and export of glass containers in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The company’s product solutions include food jars, bottles, juice, carbonated bottles, and pharma, among others.
