GSK Egypt posts profit decline in 9 months

ArabFinance: GlaxoSmithKline (GSK – Egypt) (BIOC) reported a consolidated net profit of EGP 70.13 million during the first nine months of 2021, compared to EGP 101.39 million in the corresponding period of 2020, according to the company’s filing to the Egyptian Exchange.
The company’s standalone net profit reached EGP 20.64 million during the January-September period of 2021, compared to EGP 115.9 million in the same period last year.
During the first half of 2021, the company posted a consolidated net profit before minority interest of EGP 20.64 million.
GSK Egypt, a member of the British pharmaceutical company Glaxo Group, is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture, packaging, marketing, sale, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
