Arab Finance: The Arab Ceramic Company (Ceramica Remas) (CERA) has reported a 57.6% year-on-year (YoY) profit decline for the first half (H1) of 2022, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on July 27th.
The company recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 15.85 million in the January-June period, down from EGP 37.383 million in the same period of 2020.
Total operating revenue, however, grew to EGP 427.884 million in H1 2021 from EGP 421.412 million in the year-ago before.
Ceramica Remas is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the construction supplies industry sector. The company is primarily involved in the production and distribution of sanitary ware sets and ceramic tiles.
