Arab Finance: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Company (ETRS) (EGYtrans) reported a 218.7% year-on-year (YoY) surge in the consolidated net profit after tax for the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, according to the financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 11th.
Consolidated net profit after tax reached EGP 20.15 million in Q2 2022, compared to EGP 6.33 million in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the company’s standalone net profit after tax jumped by 99.1% YoY to EGP 29.60 million in Q2 2022 from EGP 14.86 million.
EGYtrans is an Egypt-based company engaged in international sea, air, and land transportation services.
The company offers a wide range of services such as import and export, general cargo handling, dry cargo handling, customs clearance, warehousing, packing, and specialized transportation.
