Arab Finance: Middle East Glass Manufacturing Co (MEGM) reported a consolidated net profit after tax of EGP 140.93 million in the first half (H1) of 2022, rising by 23.46% from EGP 114.14 million in H1 2021, according to the consolidated financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on august 11th.
Moreover, the company achieved a standalone net profit after tax of EGP 48.63 million in H1 2022, compared to EGP 29.91 million in the same period last year, according to the standalone financial statement.
MEGM is an Egypt-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture, sale, and export of glass containers in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The company’s product solutions include food jars, bottles, juice, carbonated bottles, and pharma, among others.
