QNB Al Ahli’s consolidated profit jumps 22% YoY in 9 months

Arab FinanceQatar National Bank Alahli (QNB Al Ahli) (QNBA) posted a 22.06% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit attributable to the bank for the first nine months 2022, according to the consolidated financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on October 10th.

Consolidated net profit excluding minority interest amounted to EGP 7.33 billion in the period from January to September 2022, compared to EGP 6.006 billion in the same period of 2021.

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, the bank recorded a consolidated net profit of EGP 2.57 billion, compared to EGP 1.90 billion in Q3 2021.

As per the standalone financial statement, the bank’s standalone net profit after tax rose to EGP 6.95 billion in the nine-month period ended September 30th from EGP 5.69 billion in the year-ago period.

QNB Alahli is an Egypt-based bank that offers corporate and retail banking to corporate, and medium and small enterprises, as well as individuals.

The bank is organized into three business segments: retail banking, corporate and investment banking, and Tawazon Fund.
