Lecico Egypt’s consolidated loss increases 26.8% YoY in 9 months

Arab Finance: Lecico Egypt (LCSW) reported a 26.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated loss attributable to the parent company during the first nine months of 2022, according to the financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 14th.

Consolidated net loss after minority interest stood at EGP 40.90 million in the January-September period of 2022, compared to EGP 32.23 million in the year-ago period.

Meanwhile, the company’s standalone net loss after tax reached EGP 46.52 million in the nine-month period ended September 30th, compared to a net loss of EGP 30.55 million in the same period a year earlier.

Lecico is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the manufacture of tiles and sanitary ware products. The company offers its products through three segments: sanitary ware products, ceramic tiles, and brassware.
