Ceramica Remas’ profits down 47% YoY in 9 months

Arab Finance: The Arab Ceramic Company (Ceramica Remas) (CERA) recorded a year-on-year (YoY) 46.89% decrease in net profit after tax during the first nine months of 2022, according to the financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 15th.
The company’s net profit after tax dropped to EGP 22.954 million in January-September from EGP 43.221 million in the same period of 2021.
Total operating revenue surged to EGP 668.866 million in the nine months to September 30th from EGP 611.332 million in the corresponding period of 2021.
Ceramica Remas is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the construction supplies industry sector. The company is primarily involved in the production and distribution of sanitary ware sets and ceramic tiles.
