El Ezz Dekheila Steel logs 71% YoY consolidated profit hike in 9 months

Arab FinanceEl Ezz Dekheila Steel – Alexandria (EZDK) (IRAX) recorded a 70.7% year-on-year (YoY) hike in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the first nine months of 2022, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.

The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interest surged to EGP 5.486 billion in nine months to September 30th from EGP 3.214 billion a year earlier.

Consolidated net sales soared to EGP 54.208 billion in the January-September period from EGP 43.834 billion the year before.

Furthermore, the company’s standalone net profit after tax jumped to EGP 4.842 billion in the nine months that ended on September 30th from EGP 2.394 billion in the same period a year ago.

El Ezz Dekheila Steel is an Egypt-based engaged in the manufacture and production of steel in different types and forms.

The company’s direct subsidiaries include Al Ezz Steel Sheet Manufacturing Company, Steel Company for Industry, and Trade and Contracting Company, which is focused on the manufacture and trade in all types of metal and metal products.
