Medical Packaging's shareholder increases stake to 7%

ArabFinanceMedical Packaging Company (MEPA) stated that Khaled Muhammad increased his stake in the company capital from 4.736% to 7.03%, according to the company's January 19th statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Muhammad sold 10,034,086 shares at EGP 0.7038 per each, with a total amount of EGP 7,062,197.

Medical Packaging reported a net profit of EGP 3,014,105 in the first half (H1) of 2020, an 11% increase from EGP 2,711,701 achieved in H1 2019.

Medical Packaging is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the manufacturing of medical and pharmaceutical packaging products. The company focuses on the operations and establishment of a factory for the production of glass containers for the purpose of medical, pharmacy, laboratories, cosmetics, and perfumes.
