Rubex shifts to loss in 9 months

Arab Finance: Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing (RUBX) turned to losses during the first nine months of 2022, according to the financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 15th.

The company recorded a net loss after tax of EGP 3.9 million in January-September, compared to a net profit of EGP 1.846 million in the same period a year earlier.

Revenue grew to EGP 151.825 million in the nine months to September 30th from EGP 142.012 million in the prior-year period.

Rubex is an Egypt-based joint-stock shareholding company engaged in acrylic and plastic products manufacturing.

The company manufactures and distributes household plastic and acrylic products that include acrylic bathtubs and corner bathtubs, acrylic shower trays, acrylic bathroom panels, and others.
