Arab Finance: The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) signed seven agreements with Abu Dhabi Aviation Group and its subsidiaries as part of its efforts to localize advanced aerospace manufacturing technologies and expand industrial cooperation with Arab partners, as per a statement.
The agreements were concluded during the opening day of the fourth edition of the EDEX International Defence Exhibition 2025.
Chairman of the AOI Mokhtar Abdel Latif, attended the signing alongside Mahmoud Al Hamli, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation Group.
Speaking during the signing, Abdel Latif highlighted the AOI’s appreciation for its growing partnership with Abu Dhabi Aviation Group, noting the group’s long-standing capabilities in producing aerospace systems, maintaining and overhauling engines, and manufacturing spare parts for the defense sector.
He said the agreements cover joint manufacturing of aerospace products, industrial and marketing integration, technical and logistical support, spare parts production, and engine overhaul operations.
The cooperation will utilize the capabilities of AOI’s aircraft, engine, and Helwan Advanced Industries factories, working with Abu Dhabi Aviation Group subsidiaries including Maximus Aviation, Global Aerospace Logistics, and AMMROC.
Abdel Latif added that AOI’s factories and companies are positioned to become a hub for expanded collaboration and expertise exchange with Abu Dhabi Aviation Group, supporting needs across Egypt, the region, and friendly nations.
Mahmoud Al Hamli praised AOI’s role in strategic industries and reaffirmed Abu Dhabi Aviation Group’s commitment to initiatives that strengthen cooperation, create investment opportunities, and support integration between both sides.
He noted that the group applies strict quality standards that align with those met by AOI’s manufacturing facilities.
