Themar’s EGM OKs capital increase via bonus shares distribution

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Arabian Company for Securities and Bonds Brokerage’s (Themar) extraordinary general meeting (EGM) has approved raising the company’s issued and paid-up capital via bonus shares issuance, as per a filing on January 22nd.

Thus, the capital shall increase from EGP 66 million to EGP 72 million by EGP 6 million distributed over 7.5 million shares, or 1-for-10 bonus shares, at a par value of EGP 0.8 per share.

The firm announced on January 18th that it was planning to raise its capital to EGP 100 million within three years.

Themar operates a range of investment activities that include the sale and purchase of securities, as well as the provision of financial advice, e-trading, ownership transfer, training sessions, and financial advisory services.
