Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has sold nine-month treasury bills (T-bills) worth around EGP 94.4 billion in an auction on March 10th, as per data by the central bank.
This is three times higher than the targeted value of EGP 25 billion.
The average interest rate on the nine-month T-bills rose by 1.6% to 31.47%, compared to 29.91% in the previous auction on March 3rd.
