Egypt’s annual core inflation hit 12.5% in November: CBE

Arab Finance: Egypt’s annual core consumer price index (CPI) inflation recorded 12.5% in November 2025, higher than 12.1% last October, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The monthly core CPI inflation registered 0.8% last November, compared with 10.4% in November 2024.

Meanwhile, the annual urban headline CPI inflation stood at 12.3% in November 2025, up from 12.5% last October.

The monthly urban headline CPI inflation reached 0.3% in November 2025, versus 0.5% in November 2024 and 1.8% in October 2025.
