The Waterway, an Egyptian real estate company, plans to establish a real estate investment fund worth EGP 10 billion ($190.2 million) during the first half (H1) of 2026 to finance its projects, CEO Hossam Hassan told Asharq Business.

Holding Co for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) has invested EGP 2.107 billion in the development and upgrade of drinking water and wastewater treatment plants in Fayoum under the Hayah Karima initiative during 2022, according to a statement by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities. HCWW implemented several projects to boost the efficiency of the drinking water and wastewater treatment plants and networks in Fayoum at an estimated value of EGP 492 million, the company’s chairman Mamdouh Raslan revealed.
