Egypt cuts pre-arrival customs clearance fees on imports to 1%

Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait has issued a resolution lowering pre-arrival customs clearance on imports, allowing importers to pay in advance only 1%, instead of 30%, of the initially estimated customs duties and fees.
