Egypt, Spain ink €1.4M grant for Cairo Metro Line 1 extension study

Egyptian Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat signed a €1.4 million grant agreement with Spain's Economic and Commercial Advisor in Egypt, Eduardo Soriano, to fund an initial feasibility study for extending the Cairo Metro’s first line from New El-Marg to Shubra El-Kheima.
