Egyptalum’s profits hike 101% YoY in H1 FY2023/24

Arab Finance: The Aluminium Company of Egypt (Egyptalum) saw a 101% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profits after tax in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024, the firm’s financial indicators showed on January 30th.

The company registered EGP 3.438 billion in net profits in H1 of FY 2023/2024, up from EGP 1.71 billion during the same half the year before.

Meanwhile, the firm grew revenues of EGP 13.387 billion in H1 of the current FY, up 60% from EGP 8.358 billion in H1 of last FY.

As the largest aluminum producer in Egypt and one of the leading companies in Africa, Egyptalum is specialized in extruding aluminum profiles for architectural and industrial applications.

The company undertakes the activities of aluminum billet casting, dies, extrusion, alloys, painting, and anodizing.
