Arab Finance: Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) saw a 77.07% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profits after tax during 2023, according to the firm’s financial statement sent to the bourse on February 18th.

The company achieved a net profit of EGP 481.693 million in 2023, compared to EGP 272.040 million in 2022.

The company’s total operating revenues increased to EGP 874.592 million, compared to EGP 666.503 million in 2022.

For standalone businesses, MPRC’s profits after tax amounted to EGP 365.881 million, up from EGP 237.263 million.

Established in 1997, the company produces and distributes movies and television programs, while owning and operating radio stations and filming studios. Through its main subsidiaries, the company offers media training services and owns a recreational park.
