Arab Finance: Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) and Siemens have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide smart solutions for energy conservation, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources stated.

The MoU comes within the framework of EMC’s continuous endeavor to develop the services it provides within the petroleum industry in Egypt and outside it.

It is also aligned with the petroleum ministry's vision to draw a road map for digital transformation and developing the skills of human cadres.

Moreover, EMC signed another MoU with DNV to issue methane emissions reduction certificates.

This MoU includes cooperation in the field of inspection, review, and issuance of certificates for reducing methane emissions and associated gases and efficiency and improvement of energy use in line with Egypt’s 2030 vision.

These MoUs have been signed during the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2024).
