El-Sisi pushes for private sector investments in healthcare

Arab Finance: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized the government's commitment to facilitating private sector investments in the health sector, as per a statement.

This came during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Justice Omar Marwan, and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar to discuss bolstering private sector involvement in healthcare.

The meeting delved into mechanisms for monitoring investors' commitments and the necessary legislative frameworks.

El-Sisi instructed swift legislative steps to enhance the private sector's role in improving healthcare capabilities, expanding accommodation capacity, and enhancing service quality and efficiency.

Efforts to bolster the pharmaceutical industry and expand Egyptian medicine exports were also discussed.
