AMOC’s consolidated profits up 28% YoY in FY2023/24

Arab Finance: Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) reported a 28% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profits after tax and non-controlling interest in the fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024 to EGP 1.753 billion from EGP 1.372 billion, according to the financial indicators.

Sales came in at EGP 33.768 billion last FY, up from EGP 24.208 the year before.

The company’s standalone net profits after tax jumped to EGP 1.263 billion in the elapsed FY, compared to EGP 1.065 billion a year earlier.

Meanwhile, standalone sales grew to EGP 33.312 billion from EGP 23.889 billion.

AMOC is an Egypt-based company that operates in the petroleum industry. The company specializes in the production of essential mineral oils, paraffin wax and its derivatives, naphtha, and butane, as well as distributes and markets them in Egypt and abroad.
