Arab Finance: Egyptian Chemical Industries (KIMA) has denied having any relation to the current events in Aswan regarding the reported contamination of drinking water and the outbreak of infections, as per a statement.

KIMA’s announcement came in response to claims on social media on the impact of the company’s plants on the surrounding environment in Aswan.

The firm stressed that it is subject to periodic follow-up by the environmental and occupational health regulatory authorities.

It added that it employs the needed programs for industrial wastewater treatment, which is directed to Alaqi sewage station.
