Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen held an expanded session of talks to discuss ways of boosting joint cooperation in several fields, the Egyptian cabinet stated on March 13th.

The two parties have discussed reinforcing strategic joint cooperation across renewables and green hydrogen projects, maritime transport and logistics as well as pharmaceuticals.

The Danish Prime Minister praised efforts made by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the success of the Egyptian government in achieving relatively low unemployment rates despite all the existing global challenges.

The Egyptian premier stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral economic cooperation with Denmark, especially in the field of green energy, noting that expanding the scope of work in renewable energy and green hydrogen projects is a top priority for the Egyptian government.

Madbouly said Frederiksen’s visit coincides with the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the exchange of diplomatic representation between the two countries.
