Juhayna Food Industries took part in the Egyptian-Danish Business Conference, inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and King Frederik X of Denmark in Copenhagen.

On March 20th, Shoukry headed to the Danish capital to co-chair the Copenhagen Climate Ministerial Conference, which took place on March 20th to 21st, to tackle climate change adaptation, mitigation, and funding, in addition to handling damages and losses.

Views were also exchanged on the latest developments of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), where both officials agreed on the importance of reaching a binding legal agreement to settle this dispute in a way that preserve the rights and interests of all parties.

The two parties have discussed reinforcing strategic joint cooperation across renewables and green hydrogen projects, maritime transport and logistics as well as pharmaceuticals.

The agreement was penned by Egypt’s Electricity and Renewable Energy Minister Mohamed Shaker and the Danish Ambassador to Cairo Svend Olling, in presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederikse.
