Arab Finance: Egypt’s government spending on the healthcare sector increased to 33% from 28%, while the government healthcare spending on individuals rose by 13%, Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stated on June 4th.
However, individual healthcare spending fell to 59.3% from 62.7%
The minister’s announcement came during the issuance of Egypt's National Health Accounts Report, which examines healthcare spending in Egypt as part of the country’s efforts to boost the healthcare sector.
