El-Sisi, EU’s official review bilateral institutional relations

Arab Finance: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the European Union’s (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell to review several aspects of the institutional relations between Egypt and the EU, according to a presidency statement on June 19^th.

The two sides stressed the need to boost cooperation and mutual dialogue in light of the common interests and challenges, especially with regards combating illegal migration and terrorism, presidency spokesperson highlighted.

Moreover, the meeting touched upon ongoing coordination with relation to various international and regional issues, he added.
