AMOC’s consolidated profits fall 11% YoY in FY2022/23

Arab Finance: Alexandria Mineral Oils Company’s (AMOC) consolidated net profits after tax decreased 11% year on year (YoY) in the fiscal year 2022/2023 to EGP 1.327 billion, compared to EGP 1.194 billion, as per the unaudited financial indicators released on August 1st.

However, revenues saw a 31% YoY growth to EGP 24.208 billion, up from EGP 18.442 billion in FY 2021/2022.

In terms of standalone business, net profits after tax inched up 2% in FY 2022/2023, reaching EGP 1.062 billion, versus EGP 1.044 billion a year earlier.

Meanwhile, standalone revenues rose 31% YoY to EGP 23.889 billion from EGP 18.219 billion.

AMOC is an Egypt-based company that operates in the petroleum industry. The company specializes in the production of essential mineral oils, paraffin wax and its derivatives, naphtha, and butane, as well as distributes and markets them in Egypt and abroad.
