Egypt’s Rural Industries Support Fund inks MoUs to finance SMEs with EGP 160M

Arab Finance: Egypt’s Rural Industries Support Fund, affiliated to Ministry of Social Solidarity, has inked memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with three civil societies to finance 10,000 small and micro-sized enterprises (SMEs) in six governorates with a total of EGP 160 million, minister Nivine El-Kabbag stated on August 9th.

This came as part of the first phase of the casual workers support program launched in 6 governorates, namely Giza, Al Buhayra, Fayoum, Sohag, Assiut, and Qena.

As per the deal, concessional loans will be offered to 11,300 beneficiaries in the six governorates.
