Health Ministry issues 1.8M decisions of treatment at state expense in H1

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population has issued 1.815 million decisions of treatment at state expense in the first half (H1) of 2023, with total expenses of EGP 9.462 billion, as per a statement on August 12th.

This came within the framework of the country’s efforts to mitigate the financial burden for patients who cannot afford to pay for medical treatment.

The number of beneficiaries of the ministry’s decisions amounted to 511,979 in H1, the statement read.
