SCZONE lays foundation stone of Indian Platinum’s PVC fittings factory in Egypt

Arab Finance: The General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) and Indian Platinum Private Limited have laid the foundation stone for the latter’s polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fittings manufacturing factory at Orascom Industrial Parks in Sokhna Industrial Zone, as per a statement.

To be established on a 10,000-square-meter area with investments of $6 million for the first phase, the factory will manufacture chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and PVC fittings.

The factory is set to be inaugurated within 18 months after finalizing the construction works.

The project is expected to produce 30,000 tons of PVC fittings a year.
