OIH’s standalone profits plunge 57% YoY in 9 months

Arab Finance: Orascom Investment Holding’s (OIH) standalone net profits after tax dropped 56.9% year on year (YoY), hitting EGP 268.924 million during the first nine months of 2023 from EGP 624.626 million, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 15^th.

OIH, formerly Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding, is an Egypt-based holding company engaged in the telecommunications sector.

It is mainly engaged in global systems for mobile communications, media and technology, cable, energy, financial, real estate, and entertainment businesses.
