Arab Finance: MidBank has offered a set of special benefits for persons with disabilities, including full waivers on administrative fees for opening bank accounts and the free issuance of a “Meeza” card from December 1st to 15th, as per an emailed press release.
The initiative comes as part of the bank’s participation in the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) financial inclusion campaign, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The move reflects MidBank’s commitment to supporting government efforts to expand financial inclusion and empower all segments of society, especially persons with disabilities, by removing barriers to accessing safe and user-friendly banking services.
The bank said the initiative aims to enhance customers’ financial independence and strengthen their economic participation.
MidBank continues to back such national initiatives by offering flexible services designed to support community development, in line with the CBE’s directives and Egypt Vision 2030 pillars for sustainable development.
The bank is working to upgrade its service ecosystem, expand access to banking products, and deliver more inclusive and seamless experiences through digital enhancements and improved technological capabilities, amid the sector’s rapid transformation.
