Arab Finance: Both Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and Dubai Financial Market (DFM) will be closed on March 2nd and March 3rd due to the current situation in the Middle East, the UAE Capital Market Authority announced.
The authority will continue to monitor developments in the region and assess the situation on an ongoing basis, taking any further measures as necessary.
Hence, all concerned parties are advised to follow the official channels of the UAE Capital Market Authority, ADX, and DFM for updates regarding the resumption of trading.
Recently, the US and Israel have launched coordinated airstrikes across Iran, targeting over 500 military and government sites in cities, including Tehran, Isfahan, and Qom.
Then, Iran targeted US bases in Gulf countries, launching approximately 541 drones, 165 ballistic missiles, and two cruise missiles at the UAE alone.
The UAE shut its Tehran embassy and recalled its ambassador after the strikes killed four people and wounded dozens.
