Arab Finance: The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) revealed the prices of several food commodities and vegetables on Tuesday, September 8.
The price of a kilogram of packaged rice hit around EGP 34.5, marking a daily growth of 0.6%.
Packaged flour decreased by 0.9% to EGP 25.6 per kilogram.
A kilogram of packaged sugar was priced at EGP 33.2, dropping by 1.9% daily.
Sunflower oil reached EGP 100.9 per kilogram, reflecting a daily fall of 4.2%.
As for vegetables, tomato prices continued to hike, reaching EGP 27.2 per kilogram, an increase of 10.5% on a daily basis.
The price of a kilogram of onions went up by 0.9% to EGP 15.3.
