Arab Finance: Prices of food commodities and vegetables in local markets varied on Tuesday, October 20, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The price of packaged rice amounted to EGP 34.80 per kilogram, a daily decrease of 4.8%.
A kilogram of packaged flour went up by 2.6% to EGP 27.50. Meanwhile, the price of packaged sugar hit EGP 33.70 per kilogram, marking a 3.5% daily rise.
As for vegetables, the price of tomatoes declined by 2.3% to EGP 21.80 per kilogram, while a kilogram of onions jumped by 1.1% to EGP 18.40.
