Fertilizers, building materials prices mixed on October 20

Arab Finance: Prices for fertilizers and building materials in the local market varied on Tuesday, October 20, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

The price of ammonium sulfate amounted to EGP 20,215 per ton, up 7.9% daily.

A ton of ammonium nitrate dropped by 1.8% to EGP 23,153, while urea’s price went down by 2.9% to EGP 23,637 per ton.

Regarding building materials, the price of grey cement rose by 0.2% to reach EGP 4,124 per ton.

Investment-grade steel was priced at EGP 38,293, falling 0.4% daily. Conversely, the price of a ton of Ezz Steel rose by 0.9% on a daily basis to EGP 40,098.
