El Ahli Investment and Development posts 322.5% YoY hike in Q1 2026 consolidated profits

Arab Finance: El Ahli Investment and Development's (AFDI) consolidated net profits attributable to the parent company climbed by 322.58% to EGP 47.845 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, versus EGP 11.322 million in Q1 2025, according to the financial results.

Earnings per share (EPS) increased to EGP 2.66 at the end of March 2026 from EGP 0.63 in the same quarter a year earlier. Total revenues jumped to EGP 84.194 million from EGP 54.245 million.

As for the standalone business, the company incurred net losses of EGP 5.553 million in Q1 2026, an annual drop from EGP 7.028 million.

Loss per share fell to EGP 0.31 from EGP 0.39, while total operating revenues rose to EGP 1.866 million from EGP 496,045.

In 2025, the listed company posted an 86.98% year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated profits, recording EGP 4.205 million, compared to EGP 32.311 million in 2024.

El Ahli Investment and Development is an Egypt-based company engaged in the provision of investment services within the Egyptian and regional capital markets.

The company offers its services through six segments of non-banking operations: corporate finance, investment banking, research and analysis, capital markets, and asset management.
