Electro Cable Egypt refutes reports of securing EGP 5B contracts

Arab Finance: Electro Cable Egypt denied circulating news regarding the signing of contracts valued at EGP 5 billion, affirming that this information is false, according to a bourse filing.

The company indicated that it discloses all awarded projects and signed contracts in accordance with the rules of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

In October, Giza Egyptian Transport and Distribution, a subsidiary of Electro Cable Egypt, was awarded a meter supply order valued at EGP 886.094 million to the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company.
