Gold prices climb on September 16 as investors eye Fed rate

Arab Finance: Gold prices jumped during Wednesday’s mid-session, September 16, as investors awaited the US Federal Reserve's upcoming decision on interest rates for further direction.

The international ounce amounted to $4,335.7 for buying and $4,335.1 for selling.

In Egypt, the 24-karat price recorded EGP 7,239.55 for purchase and EGP 7,147.02 for sale, according to Dahab Masr data at 12:55 PM.

Meanwhile, the 21-karat gold hit EGP 6,335.24 for buying and EGP 6,254.27 for selling.
