Arab Finance: Gold prices went down on Thursday, September 17, as the US Federal Reserve raised its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to a target range of 3.75% to 4%.
The international ounce was priced at $4,312.9 for buying and $4,312.2 for selling.
In Egypt, the 24-karat price recorded EGP 7,210.01 for purchase and EGP 7,135.64 for sale, according to Dahab Masr data at 11:45 AM.
Meanwhile, the 21-karat gold hit EGP 6,309.39 for buying and EGP 6,244.31 for selling.
The 18-karat gold amounted to EGP 5,408.05 for buying and EGP 5,352.27 for selling.
Gold coin reached EGP 50,475.12 for purchase and EGP 49,954.48 for sale.
