GPI for Urban Growth plans to raise capital via bonus shares

Arab FinanceGPI for Urban Growth plans to increase its issued and paid-up capital from EGP 163.63 million to EGP 177.27 million, according to a bourse disclosure.

The transaction will be implemented through the issuance of 136.36 million bonus shares at a par value of EGP 0.10 per share, to be distributed at a ratio of one bonus share for every 12 original shares.

Meanwhile, the capital hike will be financed from the retained earnings account, allocating 5% of the company’s net profits registered in 2025.

The company was established in 1998, under the name El Bonyan Company for Real Estate and Construction, and adopted its current name in 2009. It is engaged in real estate development and construction projects. The company's activities include investment in real estate, tourism, construction, land subdivision, tourist villages, hotels, restaurants, territorial division, and real estate development.
