Arab Finance: The International Women Summit 2026 kicked off at Ghurnata in Heliopolis under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, as per an emailed press release.
The summit brought together a distinguished group of leaders, decision-makers, and experts in a high-level dialogue platform aimed at empowering women, reinforcing inclusive leadership principles, and addressing structural challenges that hinder women’s participation in the workplace, contributing to building a more just and sustainable future.
This year’s theme, “Legacy Reimagined: The New Era of Egyptian Women,” presents a renewed vision for leadership, growth, and empowerment, focusing on supporting women at all stages of their careers and encouraging institutions and individuals to create inclusive, psychologically safe work environments that foster growth and meaningful impact.
In this context, the keynote sessions highlighted several pivotal topics, including “Leadership in Action: Women in Governance & Enterprise” and “Nation Builders: Pioneers of Egypt’s Economic Legacy,” alongside discussions on health and wellness, digital transformation, leadership, innovation, sustainability, cultural identity, Art, and the role of women in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Commenting on the event, Ahmed El-Shal, Chairman of Expand Company, said: “The International Women Summit represents a pioneering strategic platform that brings together various stakeholders to enable meaningful dialogue that translates into real and sustainable impact. The summit initiated multiple partnerships with various entities and NGOs, including UN Women-Egypt, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) at the American University in Cairo, the Women Entrepreneurs Network – Egypt, and others.
The summit agenda featured keynote speeches from Egypt’s top leaders, in addition to exclusive networking opportunities with influential professionals and decision-makers.
The summit also hosted workshops to provide participants with practical insights and hands-on learning experiences on entrepreneurship, AI applications, holistic health, and building a professional digital presence. The focus extended to arts and cultural identity, exploring financing challenges and opportunities, and highlighting women’s roles across various fields.
